Dispute Resolution - County and High Court Representation
Although we will always try and seek a settlement of a dispute through negotiation or mediation, sometimes the only way of bringing about a resolution is to start proceedings in either The County Court, or in the case of more serious or complex disputes in The High Court.
Taking a case to Court is often a big step and we will be with you at every stage. We will draft the documentation for Court and will gather together all of the evidence to support your case including taking detailed statements from witnesses. If necessary we will employ a specialist barrister to advise on the merits of the case and to represent you in Court.
Alternatively, you may have received Court papers requiring you to attend Court as a defendant. This may be a very stressful time for you and we can help to take the weight off your shoulders by drafting a defence to the claim and then preparing the case for Court so that you comply with the time limits.
At the same time we will actively seek an amicable settlement of the dispute through negotiation or mediation.
